FROM LONDON - BIRMINGHAM - SHREWSBURY

 

After you have skirted around Porthmadog you will find yourself of the A487 heading to Caernarfon.

 

After passing through the village of Penmorfa carry on the A487 for 3 or 4 miles and, after you pass over the River (Arfon) Dwyfor, take a turning to the right signposted Cwm Pennant.

 

After a couple of miles winding along this little road you’ll go over a bridge and on the cliff face in front of you it says: "No Parking".

 

Here the road bends left then right and immediately take the track steep down to the left signposted "Honey" 

 

Before you cross the bridge turn right into my 'drive". Gyfyng is the house right by the river as in the photo.

COMING FROM BANGOR / CAERNARVON

 

Take the A487 towards Porthmadog you take a left after Garndolbenmaen (about 6 miles before Porthmadog) signposted to Cwm Pennant.  

 

After a couple of miles you go over a bridge and on the cliff face in front of you it says: "No Parking".
